Boat trip to the Ventė cape

Those who are keen on fishing instead of traveling to Ventė Cape are able to catch fish and the owners of the “Fishermen`s Inn” will prepare a delicious dish!

Those who travel by personal bicycles will be able to amaze of the nature in Kintai.

The others are going to travel by bus along the peninsula Ventė Cape sightseeing the station of Ornithology which has been in operation since 1929 and one of the seven Lithuanian Lighthouses – Ventė Lighthouse which was build in 1863. Here we will cherish unforgettable views of Curonian Lagoon, Rusnė-island.

Returning back to “Fishermen`s Inn” we will undoubtedly taste delicious fish – soup. Sailing back to Nida we will admire the scenery of Neringa and unforgettable landscapes of the bays of Nemunas Delta.

Ventė Cape is a headland in Nemunas Delta, located in Šilutė district, Lithuania. It is known as a rest place for many birds during their migrations, particularly the autumn migration. One of the first bird ringing stations in Europe, still in operation, was opened here by Tadas Ivanauskas in 1929.
